Burgess Yachts Adds Savvy Feature to its Website

burgess-logoI was clicking around the Burgess Yachts website today and found a super-savvy new feature: “short lists.”

As potential yacht buyers (and charter clients) click through the site to look at various specs and individual yacht photographs, they can click on “add to short list,” which saves that particular yacht into a list so that the viewer doesn’t have to go looking all over the site the next time he wants to find it. Once the short list exists, the person can either e-mail it to friends for their opinions or to Burgess brokers for help in making final selections.

The new feature reminds me of the “Add to Wish List” feature that I use all the time on Amazon.com. When I see a new book that looks interesting throughout the year, I click to add it to my wish list. At holiday time, my husband’s shopping can be completed in a single click itself.

Very smart on the part of Burgess Yachts to help potential yacht buyers and charter clients do the same. Kudos!
